Thomas Jefferson's Mac and Cheese

“Thomas Jefferson” should be in quotations because supposedly this is his recipe and supposedly he invented macaroni and cheese but I don't believe that one bit. I’m willing to bet it was one of his slaves but it's just a theory... Anywho, I’ve been making this recipe for almost a decade and it’s a hit every Thanksgiving. Definitely one of the best macaroni and cheese recipes out there. Recommend adding 1/2 cup more cheese than the recipe calls for and mixing it into the macaroni and cheese sauce right before baking.
