Stack'd Burgers & Beer

Last week I had the pleasure of catching up with my friend from college, Joel, who was visiting Pittsburgh for the weekend. He knew I loved burgers so he took me to a place in Oakland by the University of Pittsburgh. The place was called Stack'd Burgers & Beer and had a fun concept for ordering food. The waitress hands you a long slip of paper with different selections for burgers, condiments and toppings and you check of what you want. It was like Build-A-Bear but for burgers! I ended up getting an angus burger with with guacamole, pepperjack cheese, and a cajun aioli as the condiment. I also decided to pair my meal with curly fries and a chocolate peanut butter milkshake. The meal did not disappoint! I'm usually a tough critic when it comes to burgers and this meal was more than satisfying. The curly fries were perfectly crisp on the outside and the milkshake was thick and delicious. I was proud of myself for finally trying a famous Pittsburgh milkshake.

So if you're ever craving a hearty meal and want something to satisfy your sweet tooth at the end, Stack'd is the way to go!
