Every listicle I read about places in Pittsburgh to eat mentioned Primanti Bros. This is THE restaurant to eat at when you come to the Steel City. Known for its GIANT sandwiches, I knew this was place I had to try before heading back home. I ordered the Oven- Roasted Turkey and Cheese. Every sandwich comes stacked with fries, sweet and sour coleslaw, and tomatoes. Now, I have to admit, I was a little apprehensive about putting coleslaw on my sandwich considering I hate coleslaw. However, I felt a true foodie should eat the sandwich the way it is meant to be eaten, so I left it on. Let me tell y'all, this did not disappoint. The crisp, cold coleslaw was a refreshing contrast to the warm and gooey turkey and cheese. The fries were cooked to perfection and were spilling out of the sandwich as I bit into it. Due to its size, there is not a cute way to eat this (not the best first date idea, ladies). However, the sandwich is more than worth the mess it makes.

*Also, if you have a sweet tooth they make milkshakes as well as spiked milkshakes if you're feeling adventurous.
